This ED is so fitting for the episode. In The Back Room by Syudou is clearly inspired by THE Back Room (a horror concept where people no-clip into a dimension that's all yellow walls and monsters lurk around). In episode 5, our cast is trapped in an apartment that loops into itself like it's its own dimension. And similarly the walls are tinted orange.If I'm understanding the lyrics correctly, the song is about the speaker following someone into the Back Room. They aren't sure if they're doing it out of love, but they're willing to dive far into the Back Room for that person. This mirror's Denji's relationship with Makima; At this point, he's not sure if he loves her, but she's definitely willing to go far for the things he wants, a good life, good food, and a girlfriend (or boobs and sex, it's all the same to Denji at this point in the story).
